∫ cos 4 x sin 2 x d x , ∫ sin 4 x cos 3 x d x \int \cos^4 x\,\sin^2 x\,dx, \qquad \int \sin^4 x\,\cos^3 x\,dx ∫ cos 4 x sin 2 x d x , ∫ sin 4 x cos 3 x d x
Metodo: Integrali di potenze di seno e cosenoPer ∫ cos^n x · sin^m x dx: se un esponente è dispari si stacca un fattore (sin x oppure cos x), il resto si scrive con l'altra funzione usando sin²+cos² = 1 e si sostituisce y = cos x (o y = sin x); se sono entrambi pari si usano le formule di bisezione cos²x = (1+cos 2x)/2, sin²x = (1−cos 2x)/2 per abbassare il grado.Integrali di potenze di seno e coseno → .
(a) ∫ cos 4 x sin 2 x d x \int \cos^4 x\,\sin^2 x\,dx ∫ cos 4 x sin 2 x d x : esponenti entrambi pari
Si usano le formule di bisezione, con c = cos 2 x c = \cos 2x c = cos 2 x per brevità: cos 2 x = 1 + c 2 \cos^2 x = \frac{1 + c}{2} cos 2 x = 2 1 + c , sin 2 x = 1 − c 2 \sin^2 x = \frac{1 - c}{2} sin 2 x = 2 1 − c .
cos 4 x sin 2 x = ( 1 + c 2 ) 2 ⋅ 1 − c 2 = 1 8 ( 1 + c ) ( 1 + c ) ( 1 − c ) ⏟ 1 − c 2 = 1 8 ( 1 + c ) ( 1 − c 2 ) = 1 8 ( 1 + c − c 2 − c 3 ) \cos^4 x\,\sin^2 x = \left(\frac{1 + c}{2}\right)^2\cdot\frac{1 - c}{2} = \frac18(1 + c)\underbrace{(1 + c)(1 - c)}_{1 - c^2} = \frac18(1 + c)(1 - c^2) = \frac18\left(1 + c - c^2 - c^3\right) cos 4 x sin 2 x = ( 2 1 + c ) 2 ⋅ 2 1 − c = 8 1 ( 1 + c ) 1 − c 2 ( 1 + c ) ( 1 − c ) = 8 1 ( 1 + c ) ( 1 − c 2 ) = 8 1 ( 1 + c − c 2 − c 3 )
(si è usato ( 1 + c ) ( 1 − c ) = 1 − c 2 (1 + c)(1 - c) = 1 - c^2 ( 1 + c ) ( 1 − c ) = 1 − c 2 per non moltiplicare tutto a mano). Quindi
∫ cos 4 x sin 2 x d x = 1 8 x − 1 8 ∫ [ cos 2 2 x − cos 2 x + cos 3 2 x ] d x \int \cos^4 x\,\sin^2 x\,dx = \frac18 x - \frac18\int\left[\cos^2 2x - \cos 2x + \cos^3 2x\right] dx ∫ cos 4 x sin 2 x d x = 8 1 x − 8 1 ∫ [ cos 2 2 x − cos 2 x + cos 3 2 x ] d x
Con y = 2 x y = 2x y = 2 x , d x = 1 2 d y dx = \frac12 dy d x = 2 1 d y :
= 1 8 x − 1 16 ∫ [ cos 2 y − cos y + cos 3 y ] d y = \frac18 x - \frac{1}{16}\int\left[\cos^2 y - \cos y + \cos^3 y\right] dy = 8 1 x − 16 1 ∫ [ cos 2 y − cos y + cos 3 y ] d y
I tre integrali:
∫ cos 2 y d y = y + sin y cos y 2 \int \cos^2 y\,dy = \frac{y + \sin y\cos y}{2} ∫ cos 2 y d y = 2 y + s i n y c o s y (notevole, vedi Integrazione per parti∫ f·g' dx = f·g − ∫ f'·g dx (regola del prodotto letta al contrario). Si usa per log x, arcsin x, arctan x (scritti come "funzione per 1"), per sin²x, cos²x, sinh²x, cosh²x (integrale circolare: l'integrale di partenza ricompare e si porta a sinistra) e per prodotti come x^n·e^(αx), x^n·sin(βx), e^(αx)·sin(βx).Integrazione per parti → );
∫ cos y d y = sin y \int \cos y\,dy = \sin y ∫ cos y d y = sin y ;
∫ cos 3 y d y \int \cos^3 y\,dy ∫ cos 3 y d y : esponente dispari, si stacca un cos y \cos y cos y : ∫ ( 1 − sin 2 y ) cos y d y \int (1 - \sin^2 y)\cos y\,dy ∫ ( 1 − sin 2 y ) cos y d y , e con t = sin y t = \sin y t = sin y , d t = cos y d y dt = \cos y\,dy d t = cos y d y , diventa ∫ ( 1 − t 2 ) d t = t − t 3 3 = sin y − 1 3 sin 3 y \int (1 - t^2)\,dt = t - \frac{t^3}{3} = \sin y - \frac13\sin^3 y ∫ ( 1 − t 2 ) d t = t − 3 t 3 = sin y − 3 1 sin 3 y .
Sommando, − sin y -\sin y − sin y e + sin y +\sin y + sin y si cancellano:
∫ [ cos 2 y − cos y + cos 3 y ] d y = y + sin y cos y 2 − 1 3 sin 3 y \int\left[\cos^2 y - \cos y + \cos^3 y\right] dy = \frac{y + \sin y\cos y}{2} - \frac13\sin^3 y ∫ [ cos 2 y − cos y + cos 3 y ] d y = 2 y + sin y cos y − 3 1 sin 3 y
Tornando a x x x (y = 2 x y = 2x y = 2 x ):
∫ cos 4 x sin 2 x d x = 1 8 x − 1 16 [ 2 x + sin 2 x cos 2 x 2 − 1 3 sin 3 2 x ] + k \int \cos^4 x\,\sin^2 x\,dx = \frac18 x - \frac{1}{16}\left[\frac{2x + \sin 2x\cos 2x}{2} - \frac13\sin^3 2x\right] + k ∫ cos 4 x sin 2 x d x = 8 1 x − 16 1 [ 2 2 x + sin 2 x cos 2 x − 3 1 sin 3 2 x ] + k
Semplificando: x 16 − sin 4 x 64 + sin 3 2 x 48 + k \frac{x}{16} - \frac{\sin 4x}{64} + \frac{\sin^3 2x}{48} + k 16 x − 64 s i n 4 x + 48 s i n 3 2 x + k (verificato derivando con Python).
(b) ∫ sin 4 x cos 3 x d x \int \sin^4 x\,\cos^3 x\,dx ∫ sin 4 x cos 3 x d x : un esponente dispari
L'esponente del coseno è dispari: si stacca un cos x \cos x cos x e cos 2 x = 1 − sin 2 x \cos^2 x = 1 - \sin^2 x cos 2 x = 1 − sin 2 x :
∫ sin 4 x cos 2 x cos x d x = ∫ sin 4 x ( 1 − sin 2 x ) cos x d x \int \sin^4 x\,\cos^2 x\,\cos x\,dx = \int \sin^4 x\,(1 - \sin^2 x)\cos x\,dx ∫ sin 4 x cos 2 x cos x d x = ∫ sin 4 x ( 1 − sin 2 x ) cos x d x
Con y = sin x y = \sin x y = sin x , d y = cos x d x dy = \cos x\,dx d y = cos x d x :
∫ y 4 ( 1 − y 2 ) d y = ∫ ( y 4 − y 6 ) d y = y 5 5 − y 7 7 + k = 1 5 sin 5 x − 1 7 sin 7 x + k \int y^4(1 - y^2)\,dy = \int (y^4 - y^6)\,dy = \frac{y^5}{5} - \frac{y^7}{7} + k = \frac15\sin^5 x - \frac17\sin^7 x + k ∫ y 4 ( 1 − y 2 ) d y = ∫ ( y 4 − y 6 ) d y = 5 y 5 − 7 y 7 + k = 5 1 sin 5 x − 7 1 sin 7 x + k
Confronto tra i due: con un esponente dispari bastano due righe; con entrambi pari serve la bisezione, più lunga.
